Launched in the early 1980s, this 52ft Cheoy Lee motorsailer is ready to take you where you would like to go in comfort and safety. Built by Cheoy Lee Yachts, this boat is a little ship and would also make a great liveaboard. Being ketch rigged gives a number of sailing options plus the twin 120hp Ford Lehman engines keep her going no matter what the wind state. Running at 1500rpm gives an economical 7 knots, using only 10 litres per hour. The owner has installed electric winches making the boat easier to sail. Additionally, with a new Northern Lights 8kva generator, along with 800 watts of solar and 900 amp hours of house batteries, power will never be a problem. There is a new Vetus bow thruster, new propellers, new engine instruments and late model electronics. Newly replaced ground tackle gives added confidence the boat will stay securely anchored. Accommodation is a 3-cabin layout. The master cabin has an ensuite. A toilet and shower forward services the 2 guest cabins, 1 with a double berth and the other with 2 singles. There is a large saloon area and a good-sized galley with a upright fridge/freezer. The wheelhouse affords the skipper and guests a safe area with views all around. The cockpit is also a great place to sit and chill out while underway or at anchor. There is so much to this boat - too hard to list all the features.
