"Loloma", the classic JJ O’Rorke traditional timber mast gaff rigged keel cutter from 1909. Double diagonal Kauri planking with additional 2 skins added during 1980’s Auckland maritime historian Harold Kidd restoration. "Loloma" is powered by a good selection of sails; 2 head sails, stay sail, main sail, top sail with 2 spars and a spinnaker pole. The iron horse is a Volvo 10hp diesel spinning a folding Max prop. "Loloma" sports a modern marine toilet with holding tank. A battery bank provides electricity with regeneration from a movable solar panel. "Loloma" has been much loved throughout her 112 years and has just had a spruce up on the hard with new antifouling, prop speed, hull polish and engine service. "Loloma" is, by all accounts, a joy to sail and if you want to be the next one to become bewitched by her classic lines, enquire now for more details.
